The Nikon D7000 is Nikon's newest DSLR, aimed right between the D90 and the D300s crowd.Nikon D7000 just replaced both the D90 and D300s with superior performance.Is the D7000 superior to the D300s? I think so. Ignore the trivial stuff like counting AF points or FPS specifications; with the addition of the U1 and U2 modes on the top dial, as far as I'm concerned, the D7000 smokes the D300s for shooting utility. The D300s is just a D300, which is old 2007 technology.Nikon will still sell the D300s, probably for more money than the D7000, because it can, but I think the D300s has just met its match.From what I can see, the D7000 is now Nikon's top DX camera. Nikon G to Canon EOS Adapter. Weird but true, this crazy adapter lets you actuate the diaphragm of G lenses, like Nikon's latest extraordinary 14-24mm, for use on Canon. Used on the Canon 1Ds Mk III , you can get better images than you can from anythign from Nikon. Weird but true! STRANGE BUT TRUE!! You can get an adaptor to put Nikon lenses on Canon EOS film and digital cameras. Canon cameras have a shorter distance between the lens flange and film plane than Nikon.
